I need help - we need help..

So where should I start. I am a Dual Citizen German/USA I currently live in the USA.

My boyfriend is from Brasil and has been living in the USA for the last 4 or 5 years. I love him very much and I want to help him anyway I can. The problem is he came here illegally - and still is.

I know its bad but I am sure he has his reasons why and I will never hold it against him or anyone else that did that.

Since I love him so much I want to help him to get papers so that he can get his life in order.

What do I need to do ? I am confused. I am sure I can not just marry him and apply for papers - INS would deport him- I am sure.

What about a Fiance visa ? What about getting married outside of the USA ?

Would a lawyer be able to help? I would really appreciate if anyone is in a similar situation and could give me some advice what the best and quickest way is.

Thanks

Oasis

Please clarify

He came here illegally (snuck into the US w/o the proper or fake documentation) or he overstayed his visa?

If he overstayed his visa, but entered with a valid tourist/work/fiance/student etc visa he can adjust status by marrying you while in the US, just make sure he doesn't exit before receiving his Advance Parole or his green card.

If he entered here illegally, he has to go back to Brazil and you have to apply for him to come back legally with a fiance's visa, get married and then apply for his green card.
