No LUD after finger prints....

As I understand, case statuses get updated with new LUDs after biometric appointment are completed. My wife went through her fingerprint appointment on feb. 5th, but her cases have not updated/touched yet.

Any insight/experiences will be appreciated.

Fingerprints taken at USCIS goes to FBI for background checks. Once your biometrics is complete you can call the FBI to find out whether your fingerprint report has been sent back to the USCIS or not. They WILL NOT tell you whether your fingerprints were rejected or if anything negative was found, instead they will just tell you whether or not FBI has processed your biometrics. The number to call is: 304-625-5590 or 304-625-2406. We tried this a week after our biometrics and the FBI told us that our fingerprints were sent back to the USCIS a few days after the bio appointment.

Thanks jb_vj. A follow up question... when I call FBI, Will they require a case number from me to search for my records or will first and last names do?

Actually, I just called the number provided in above post. FBI was able to confirm that fingerprint of my wife were processed the very next day and results were forwarded to USCIS.

Not sure, why case was not touched or updated with new LUD.. ??

I had my biometric last Feb. 17 and my case were not updated too. Tried to check my status everyday but no change yet as of today.

I wouldn't worry too much about it, you had your bio and you were able to confirm that they were sent back to USICS...the waiting game beings now.
