oops, yeah Len is right... its Aguila Roja not Estrella Roja (even though the label has a Red Star- *Estrella in Spanish*)... and it is gooooood.

Len... want some? Got some at home right now...

In the meantime I'll let you look for Madre Isla from PR. Smooth and rich.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

PJ's Coffee and Tea Viennese Blend

They have a french roast too, but I find this to be better. They are a local New Orleans coffee company so you have to order online, but it's great coffee.

Thanks Jen :) I think I'll send my dad to get me some so I don't even have to pay for it

I would have to say Folgers. They always have good deals and since I drown my coffee with creamer cheap will do.

Peets, I havent heard about them in awhile, I do like them. First I heard of Peets was when I was working in the Bay area. Is Peets on the east coast, anyone know

They sell Peets coffee in all the Wolfgang Puck cafes in museums and stuff. There's one in the Newseum in Arlington. Also in the aquarium in Atlanta. You can also buy it at Whole Foods.

Best coffee ever. No bitter after taste. I'm poor so I can only afford a small bag every few months. :crying:

Len, I'm a coffee snob too. Comes from growing up in NOLA and working in a small coffee shop through grad school :-)

I cannot buy Folgers because I won't do non-Fair Trade coffee.

Starbucks is okay, but as a Seattle girl now, I'd rather Tully's or Peets or Trader Joe's.

I had my first Tully's two years ago. It was dreamy.

Seattle Mountain Columbian - we grind our own beans - it is wonderful! Starbucks tastes burnt and is far too bitter for good coffee. Dunkin Donuts is much better - especially the French Vanilla. The New England Coffee blends are also quite good, but my favourite is Seattle Mountain Columbian. (and Tim Hortons in Canada!)

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
