Dunkin Doughnut coffee rocks!

I heard this too, it's the number of good roasted beans that make good coffee, the smaller ones tend to burn, Dunkin Doughnut by some some survey has the least number of either raw or burnt beans in it. Grocery store sells it for over eight bucks a pound, maybe for Christmas or something special.

Ha, I buy whatever name brand coffee is on sale, have Folgers, Maxwell House, Chase & Sanborn, and Hills Brothers in my secret hiding place now, think I am drinking Maxwell House right now, I can't tell the difference. My Menards store was selling Chase & Sandborn for three bucks a can, purchased a couple of cases. But lucky to find it for five bucks a can lately.

Besides coffee, believe you also need water, that water can really wreck a cup of coffee, so while Colombia may have good coffee, their water sucks. Did bring some back with me, and the difference is incredible using carbon filtered water softened Wisconsin well water. Also how you make it makes a difference.

I bring bags of coffee from Colombia every time I go. Estrella Roja, Juan Valdez varieties, etc. But my wife will have to forgive me... but the best coffee I've ever had comes from Puerto Rico's small gourmet Caracolillo beans.

Wishing you ten-fold that which you wish upon all others.

Len, I'm a coffee snob too. Comes from growing up in NOLA and working in a small coffee shop through grad school :-)

I cannot buy Folgers because I won't do non-Fair Trade coffee.

Starbucks is okay, but as a Seattle girl now, I'd rather Tully's or Peets or Trader Joe's.

I remember growing up and having a aunt that wouldn't drink Folgers because it was a Proctor and Gamble product and someone in the company had said something along the lines of it wouldn't matter if we were devil worshipers or not people would still buy our coffee. Now remember I was just a kid so I dont know the exact details but aunt boycotted them.

hmm if you are a coffee lover and know what you want every cup you should considering the following: (nothing fancy promise) lol

> do you go with flavor? do you like it chocoalty? flowery? (go with arabian coffee/east african coffee) (ie, ruwanda, arabian mocha sanani, arabian mocha java?)

>do you with weight? boldness? smoothness? bold coffees are usually asian, because of their geographical location (Indonesian COffee are the best ,there are also blend of asian and arabian coffees)

mild to medium coffees are from Latin American COffees, they ha ve flavors of nutty as well (colombia) house blend is usually a blend of coffees from latin america, and has a high acidity (not the chemical acidity) but the after taste of tanginess on it..:D

there are also dark roast (multi reagional coffees) such as the famous french roast, italian roast, espresso roast and cafe verona the french roast is extra bold and has an intense smokey flavor..

Goodluck have fun inbuying your coffee.. it can make your day! :star:

Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Colombian coffee is my personal fave chica!!! I luvz it, specially the "Aguila Roja" brand made in beautiful Colombia.

If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, their Colombian beans are fantastic.

We grind before each brew

Check my blog for more coffee updates
