Greetings!

I realize that I am beating this horse to death but when I saw that from the CSC a K-3 approval from Dec 08 I cannot and will not sit back any more.

Again, I have included the letter I just faxed to Senator John Cornyn, Texas, member of the Subcommittee on Immigration,... I also sent to Senator Jim Webb, Virginia, my senator.

If people want action then they must expend some energy.

The fax number to Senator Cornyn's office is 972-239-2110 and the fax for Senator Webb's office is 703-807-5198.

I personally will not give up until something changes/happens. We need to turn up the heat on VSC and have then do their jobs.

The more letters and faxes the higher the probability that something will happen. Sitting back and doing nothing then, nothing will happen.

Ladies and Gentlemen, start your faxes!!

I am viewing the VisaJourney.com website, which tracks actual dates for K-3 visas, and am I see that the California Service Center is approving K-3 visa requests from December 2008! Vermont Service Center is approving K-3 visa requests from August 2008.

Why is the California Service Center approving K-3 visa requests within a two month period and the Vermont Service Center is approving K-3 visas requests in a seven to nine month period?

Why are K-1 visas being approved at a faster rate than K-3 visas? It is absurd that finance(e)'s are approved faster than foreign spouses.

Why are foreign worker's visas approved at a faster rate than foreign spouses?

Why, after three months, isn't my I-129F (EAC-09-031-XXXXX) viewable on line? When I call USCIS I have been told that "it takes a couple of weeks" to "you do not need to worry about it". THREE MONTHS - Ridiculous!!

This entire system is broken! Why are foreign spouses being punished?

More importantly, why is there no oversight? Why aren't questions being asked and explanation demanded? Why isn't the management team at USCIS held accountable for these glaring discrepancies.

If I was still in the military and this was a military action - there would massive firings. This is not right and a huge disservice to the citizens of this country.

My goodness! And where were you when I spent months at the offices of Sheila Jackson-Lee and Phil Gramm back in 2003??? I NEEDED THIS RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION!

I sincerely hope that others take up this cause.

I hope you realize the desired results.

According to your faith (and actions ^_^ )

When someone shows you who they are, believe them.

It is only by the action of USC's that any progress on this system will be made. I am amazed that for years USC's have been so impotent in having any change made to this archaic system. In a lot of cases I'm sure people have been wary of being outspoken for fear it may damage their individual petitions and as such delay being re-united with their loved ones.

If you want change, if you want this system to be sorted out it only by action by the USC's concerned that will do it. In other words if you are content with the way things are fine. Do nothing...if you are unsatisfied with how you are being dealt with...then you have the freedom with which to express your dissatisfaction and attempt to change this immigration system.

You do have a voice, and the freedom to express it.

Rick,

Did I ever send you the letter that a bunch of us sent to the oversight committee last year?

MMartinez drafted it, and it was very well written. I'll be happy to jump on board again.

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Would love to see it.

Also, I am drafting up a letter to send to the White House.... All ideas welcomed!

Fax number to the White House is: 202-456-2461.

I spent 33 years in the USAF defending the citizens rights - and now I will exercise mine!

Thanks,

rick

Good luck with Senators Cornyn office, he did nothing for me when we filed last year, and did nothing for another past K3 filers last year.

I hope you have better luck then we did. Beware even after faxing his office and confirming your request has been received, they are not the fastest on retuning phone calls to you on your case status. I wish you all the best and luck.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I like the letter.

I am going to use that as my base and then add in some from my letter.

I will work on it this afternoon and then start faxing to the White House.

At least they cannot take me out back and shot me.... yet!

Maybe we can convince others to use the power of the pen and start a faxing campaign to the White House.

Thought??

It's not a bad idea at all. Who are you thinking of "attention"ing the faxes to?

B.H.Obama

it will go to a staffer no matter who it is sent to.

the worst that can happen is that, as usual, we get the USCIS two-step response....

Again, there is power in numbers and we need to energize the VJ base into action!
