Speaking of those xmas trees, who gave me mine and how do I get more?

they were only available as gifts during xmas - but recently if you were subjected to a server glitch where you lost all your gifts - you got 2 or so in compensation.

Have you been able to buy a woodshed yet Jax?

I definitely want to keep muh older trees because they are fairly decent on the harvest BUT curious as to how much $ the trees bring in with the woodshed.

I'll check your farm out in a bit.

I have a woodshed, the trees only get a hundred bucks or so. but last night I went to harvest my christmas tree and I accidentally hit the cut and sell button and now its gone gone gone. I think I got like 600 bucks for it but still, I made that in a week harvesting it... dammit!

I sold a few by accident too - the woodshed is a pain. Dont get one if you dont want to make mistakes - you cannot un-do or get rid of the woodshed after its placed.

Accepting plant requests on myFarm. It's like a full-time job.

You have to practice your mouse skills - scrolling and accepting before the app loads is like a fine art. Really gets my arenaline pumping.

I have all of them except Castaways and Life Stories. I've been addicted to the series since the late 1980's. It's so pathetic!

Fellow "Sim-ian" here!!!!

I had a coworker (no longer works at the company) that was into as much as I was and we would speak Simmish to each other. I sometimes miss the simplicity of the original Sims. Does that make sense? I used to download all the hacked objects and had some awesome stuff. Half the addiction was searching out the cool things to download.

I've played the Sims and most of the expansion packs. The most fun is Open for Business, I think. Although, University and Seasons were pretty cool.

I do like the Sim Stories and I've gotten into more storyline based games. Out of all the Sim Stories, Castaway was the most fun.

I am waiting to see what Sim 3 is like. I'm sure I'll end up getting it. Still miss the original one though.

I am a BIG PC gaming fan (don't play online games) and I've played alot. May I suggest two games that are at the top of my list:

Pirates by Sid Meier (sp?): I swear this is one of the most fun games I have EVER played. Many different levels to it. I lent it to someone who never gave it back or otherwise I would play it again and again.

The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: If you like games like Myst and Riven, this game is AWESOME!!!! The graphics are out of this world. The sequel "Dreamfall" is definitely in my top five games I've ever playd.

I finished Fable a while back which was great. I've just started on Oblivion as I've heard it's better than Fable, but too early to tell yet.

Pirates by Sid Meier (sp?): I swear this is one of the most fun games I have EVER played. Many different levels to it. I lent it to someone who never gave it back or otherwise I would play it again and again.

that has been rereleased, i just got a copy of it and am playing it a lot.

I wonder if it is any different than the original release. I don't think I've ever been as sad and despondent as I was when I finished that game. I loved the ship battles and the dancing with the mayors' daughters. You also had to really strategerize the goods that you bought and sold. So complex, but soooo entertaining. I've play ALOT of games and this one remains in my Top 5 faves of all time.

Jenn: I think the Xmas tress are special edition, only available at certain times.

Jackie: It was a good day harvesting with the crops, but are these trees ever going to be ready?? I might get gray hair waiting on them.

Aymsgirl, You can also click on the accept all gifts now button (where it tells you how many more gifts you have to accept) and they will all come at once. The only thing is NOT go to back and click on ignore afterwards to clear out the list. Otherwise you won't be able to send as many gifts out (and as you can tell, several of us are counting on you to do your part ) I think/hope they will fall off the list with time, but I just try to click accept on a few at a time(as jenn said, the fine art of mousing) and clear them out.

it was so far back i didn't even remember much of it, but it has all of that above. i don't worry too much about the buying and selling though, i'm too busy raiding.
