flawed poll. given the amount of layoffs announced so recently, one could always vote for "drive what, my car got repossessed."

I am federal tax exempt. I am not sure how it works that I get something, but I read that I am supposed to anyway. Not counting chickens...

To be honest, if I get it, it will just be tossed into savings like it never existed in the first place.

The 'cut' is not in the federal income tax. It's in the payroll tax. So everyone who pays into payroll gets a cut. And I believe everyone pays into payroll.

OK, so I'm not even over there yet, but if I was, well $13 buys a case of MGD from Party Time liquor store in Sparta, so I guess I'd spend it on that.

See this is where Obama is wrong on thinking this stimulus will make a change. What will $13 a week do? Nothing, as can be seen from this poll. If he had at least given it all at once (13x52 weeks) $676 per person, maybe it would make a tiny difference. But as we learned from the last shell out of cash, it had no impact.

What will I do with my $13? Nothing, i wont even notice it on my check.

And I dont know what AJ meant by "payroll tax". People who have federal taxes deducted on their paychecks, will get $13 less deducted.
