HI Fellow VJ'ers,

Good Day to all of you wherever you are..

Im very confused now about where to get my police clearance..Ive lived in one of the small province named Maranding for 2 years and have just moved here in Bacoor Cavite just a month ago, and for that I have changed my address using the change address online tool suggested by USCIS..now my question is: Where should I get or file a police clearance? Maranding or Bacoor? Im a K3 applicant..

Any suggestions/help is highly appreciated..Thank u so much.

If you are going to pursue K3 then NBI clearance would do.. No need to get police clearance from the province.

If you are going for CR1 route then you would be needing to get police clearances from "Maranding" and "Bacoor". Usually NBI would do but I have read posts of people having an RFE because of sending only NBI clearance to NVC.

you just need a valid NBI clearance.Those that are required to submit police clearance are the ones who lived outside of the country for 6mos onwards.

Thank you so much...I think I need to go back there ( Maranding to file it personally) Is there a way that my parents can file it ( police certificate)on behalf of me? Has anyone tried it before??waaaaa...
