Some petitions were approved in a few days, some in a few weeks, and some people here waiting for NOA2 over 6 months.

I have only one explanation, some users in this forum have wrong NOA1 days and all this wrong data create a wrong data for others.

or

Vermont takes one petition from the top and 10 from the bottom, this way they can get nice average results in general.

Any ideas?

Some people apply (and are approved) for expedite - for example military before they ship out...

I agree with you, it does seem like it might do something funny to the averages!!!!! I actually grabbed some of the raw data, threw out the high and low wait times, and made my own average. I don't remember the specifics, except that it seemed as though the averages weren't too different (high wait and expedite balanced out, basically).

Also, you should keep in mind that some people might take all they want/need from VJ, and never log in again to update their time lines - it looks like this is true for about 10% of time lines that get started.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

More detailed time line in profile.

True - also remember that VJ is a very small sample of applicants. The USCIS service center definitely take petitions in order, but they do not necessarily process them in order. There are extensive threads about delays in processing.
