Hi, everyone!

My fiancee will be leaving Cambodia in 4 days and her POE will be Atlanta Georgia. This is her first time on a plane, much less, international travel ,and, going through being scrutinized by immigration. She is curious about what happens from the time she enters the immigration area, until she leaves her POE for her final destination. Any tips, hints, or experiences, especially at this particular POE would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi there

I came in through Atlanta last july, i found the officers very nice. after going through the main immigration desk they send you to customs, to check the brown envelope, I waited there about an hour. But all in all a very good poe. You can also read the poe reviews, you can click this link to take you there. http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/poereviews.php

I wish you a happy renunion and congratulations.

Also you may find it useful if you suggest she goes to the Hartsfield Atlanta website, there you can get a plan of the airport and it shows you where to go, as you are probably aware Atanta is a huge airport and i got very confused with it on my first visit.

Atlanta airport is really a big and the busiest airport in the world. To reduce anxiety, I suggest that she should visit the website of the airline company based on her plane ticket and do some research on it as well as the website of the Atlanta airport (schematic diagram of the airport). Just to give her an insight. When she'll reach the airport she has to watch out signs directing to the immigration desk and to the custom. She has to prepare her documents such as her passport and visa. Don't forget to bring or hand carry the brown envelope which she got from the US embassy of her country when she had her visa interview. Those documents will be inspected. The brown envelope will just be left to the officer who will interview her. The questions are just very easy.

Good luck on her trip!
