interview Waived

Hi again all, just a quick question. I've seen mentioned in several places that USCIS can actually waive the interview.

Have any of you actually heard of or experienced an interview being waived?

There have been many instances reported here of the USCIS not requiring an AOS interview for those entering on K-1 visas. It is up to USCIS to decide who will be interviewed.

In most cases, if a AOS case has been transferred to CSC, then it's most likely that an interview will not be held to obtain a conditional green card

I adjusted from a tourist visa, and a interview was required. I have never heard of somebody adjusting from a tourist visa getting the interview waived.
