We recieved our NOA2 on January 29th 2009, how long should it take before I hear anything from the NVC. I keep checking the USCIS website in order to see updates, but all the only posting is our approval. Is this normal?

Once your case is forwarded to NVC, USCIS does not have control over it. Welcome to the Dept. of State. So yes, it's normal.

Moving this to NVC forum.

I-129F tends to pass through NVC in 2 to 4 weeks. It can take 2 weeks for USCIS to forward case to NVC, so expect 4-6 weeks NOA2 to sending on to consulate.

Impressive. Our NOA2 was last May and the case is still listed as "received and pending". My wife already has her green card. It is normal for the "updates" to not be updated. Lately there have been a lot of cases in administrative processing at NVC, some members have receive letters that their case was forwarded to the embassy only to find it was still in AP weeks later.
