One good thing I noticed the USCIS processing times for VSC on the I-130 is now 6 months. Now we have some kind of a time schedule.

lol, ignore that 6 months.. we're at 8 now

I knew it was too good to be true. Hang in there Dearest, soon your approval will come.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

Vermont has 4 weeks now to respond to my wife (petitioner) and tell her whats going on.. hopefully they'll use these 4 weeks to approve us

Yes I am 55 today so a "touch" on my birthday would be nice Ha! To get through this drawn out process and be more settled in our lives together will be wonderful. Like everything in life it will come when it's ready, at the moment it's like waiting for a pot to boil.

People in the UK cannot believe what we go through. Obviously I have not experienced UK immigration but I am sure the process is a lot more relaxed that this. The new US administration has it's hands full just now paying off the bankers (a bit like the UK) so when that mess settles down a bit then perhaps President Obama will take a look at what is needed in the immigration area. I personally believe he is the best hope for the US indeed if not for the world.

Just streamline this process and get your future citizens re-united would be great start.

I hope so too Dan, we all wish you the best of luck, and want to see you both post a approval very soon. Approvals are the best posting.

Yes Dan I firmly believe you will receive an approval within the 4 week time line  . Great to see that Vermont has posted 6 months as their time for processing I 130's. Now does that mean in order to achieve this they will enact a whole bunch of transfers. We shall see!!!

I am really pleased to see that on the USCIS posting. It certainly gives a lot of folk hope that their wait won't be lingering too much. Yes definitely progress....well done Vermont.

Many thanks for your best wishes. An approval would be nice. It's kind of difficult to imagine the amount of petitions they adjudicate at these service centers. I did once see a post from a past adjudicator how they process the cases which was very interesting. I think it's still probably here on VJ somewhere.

6 months though ..looks like an approval for ourselves around 20th April time, all being well. That would be a nice Easter gift.

Thank you again and best wishes to you all
