LOL... strongly opinionated people are the most likely extremists. And ....... Although I hold strongly to some ideals, I'm quite comfortable with thinking I have no f*cking clue when a problem persists to which no viable solution has remedied.

Well, let's just look at the recent California budget and who was holding the state hostage, refusing to accept a bipartisan budget on ideological grounds of 'no tax increases'. When members of your own party are admitting that there's no way we could avoid raising tax revenue to deal with the 40 billion deficit, it's pretty obvious who's being an extremist. Saying I have no clue is saying that all the Democrats, the Republican Governor and even some moderate Republicans that supported the bipartisan budget also have no clue. Extremism just showed it's ugly head.

I don't find any of them particularly entertaining to be honest. I see the basic appeal - and I've watched a fair few of those shows (and Talk Radio too), but I don't find any of it particularly clever.

i didn't think i qualified as a right winger anyways, as i'm not entirely against abortion. plus i think birth control pills should be free and paid for by the government.

and I don't think I qualify as a full fledged left winger... I'm not entirely in favor of widespread access to abortion as a birth control method (but I am a male... so my input is not equal to a female's). And I think that gun ownership, although controlled a little more efficiently and rationally, should not be prohibited outright.
