HI there ,

hope u all had a good week and for these who are in AP for long time i hopr their waiting come to end this week,

i have this question about my husband who is from pakistan ,he had his interview for k3 visa on sep 16 2008 and since then they have put him on AP with DOS in washington,my question when my husband never been in US then what kind of information are they looking for when he has no record or history in US ? how will i find out why did they place him on AP when i have seen many men from pakistan gotten thier visa within weeks or a month?

3/24/2006...got married

6/26/2006...I-130 sent to uscia

9/4/2007 ...I-130 aproved

9/4/2007....NVC recieved

8/4/2008...NVC completed

8/4/2008...case sent to USE/Islamabad

9/16/2008....interview date/put in AP

3/16/2009 .... 6 months of AP

4/16/2009.......7 months in AP

5/16/2009........8 months in AP

6/16/2009.........9 months in AP

6/15/2009.... visa issued

7/30/2009....visa in hand

POE 8/4/2009 Washington /dulles airport

8/28/2009....GC received/10 years validity

Sorry I cannot answer your question but I simply had to post to express my astonishment that someone could be stuck in this K3 process for the better part of 3 years ! And some of us here feel that their situation is bad. I really hope that things work out soon for you.

06/12/09 - POE at Newark (K3)

07/01/09 - I-485 and I-765 mailed

07/06/09 - USCIS received (date on NOA1)

07/13/09 - NOA1 received for both I-485 and I-765 !

08/08/09 - Biometric appointment

08/25/09 - AOS interview letter notice date

09/24/09 - AOS interview

10/03/09 - Received GC !!

u r not alone.. v have been in AP since DEC 2007 n my fiance never visited US or any other country .

it's a required name check that all T countries citizens need to go through.

let's hope our wait will end soon i'A
