WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama plans to announce Monday a former Secret Service agent who helped expose lobbyists' corruption at the Interior Department as his pick to oversee the $787 billion economic stimulus plan.

Obama is set to name Earl Devaney as chairman of the new Recovery Act Transparency and Accountability Board, an administration official said Sunday. Vice President Joe Biden also will be given a role coordinating oversight of stimulus spending.

The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because the White House had not made public the announcement.

Watched Ron Paul state that this stimulus program will only delay the recovery. Still have to ask how all of a sudden, everybody was going broke, our state never mentioned being 5.6 billion in a hole not even four months ago. Seems like a lot more investigation is needed in all areas.

In my home budget, found I was eleven bucks short on my bank account, but printed out a copy where I found the error instantly, must be the glare on my computer screen. Always save my credit card receipts and match those with my bill, last year was charged 50 bucks I couldn't account for, contacted my CC company and was issued a credit for that.

But I am talking 61 bucks, not 61 billion bucks, this whole thing seems crazy to me. Is computer screen glare the problem?
