It offends me when people come up here and say how wonderful USCIS or VSC are...yeah, because they waited such a short time. Or like the people that would go off on Lisa, Chris, Sonia, me, and all of us in our K3 family... remember Lisa? And told us to go throw a pity party if we didn't like it...telling us to be patient (while they only had a 1 month waiting period). So to tell me, "Vermont is so great"... I don't think so chick! Not great for me and my HUSBAND.

If that is how the K3 weekend parties got started then I am thankful

I rmb that very well. I had just joined your forum and I was thinking "Oh my goodness there are some really immature people out there!!"

It must be a full moon or something because Saturday and Sunday I fought with my husband too. This time he actually hung up on me! LOL He has never gotten mad before, but I guess he's also starting to stress out. Yes, Aunt Flo is freakin here again too! So I admit I was being cranky, emotional, and overreactive.

Don't even think about major decisions like calling it quits when you're all emotional. Just relax and let it cool down a bit. You know, I think men have a tendency to do that...make you feel like you're the lucky one to be with them LOL but it's just the male ego. It's not a personal attack on you, believe me.

Come on...in a couple of days everything will be fine and you'll be talking about how lucky you are to have such a wonderful husband

 i was thinking that...you know, i have heard of women all working in an office, over time will "syncronize" we did it virtually?

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Watch out Steve! hahaha

Ok, you ladies are good ... because that is exactly the case with us right now!

Fortunately, we are not fighting. We are just really missing each other. The yearning to be with your loved one is so powerful ... like you ladies all know. Thank you for your positive comments ...

Boy, got home from work all bummed out, just thought I'd lie down on the bed for a minute, and sacked out for 4 hours!

Seredipity_ ... I'm sorry about the problems you and your husband are having. You've waited all this time and I know the stress has really started to chip away at things for you. Perhaps taking a break for a day or so might help back off some of the pressure. Just hope that things smooth out for you and you'll be smiling again soon (F)

Jen - funny story about the grocery shopping and the motorcycle. Would have liked to see a picture of that :P

OMG! I have had one heck of day!!

My husband was being a real d*ck head and we had a HUGE fight today.....he almost implied that he was doing me a favor Which was reason enough to make me see RED and from there on everything went down a spiral.

I don't understand men. I hate to say this but I am the one who is giving up everything familiar...great Job, Family and Friends to move to the US to be with him and I am ready to make a fresh start.....(I have made it clear on numerous occasions that I would rather live in Canada but my husband does not want to relocate here)

I am ready to throw in the towel and call thie whole f*cking thing quits !

** the only thing that could pis$ me off more would be getting approved this week

Sorry guys I have been a lil selfish with all my venting!!!

I don't believe there is such a thing as selfish venting during these trying times and senseless process. I am glad we have our K3 family to rely on.

Thanks for everyone in this forum for being there and simply listening...Some days that's all one needs, just for their feelings to be validated when no one else out there can begin to comprehend what you are going through.

This forum has helped me tremendously. With any traumatic and stressful experience, it is always helpful to have others who are experiencing similar circumstances be your crutch.

Night darlings. Will catch up with u tomorrow (F):luv::)

VSC Approves & Send It TO EMBASSY CARACAS

The format to use is "EXP 07 OCT 2008A" don't forget the spaces...and to set the date range on the tracking page. The website for tracking is. http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef The package may not go out on the next day, but the reference code will still be for that date. When your package is able to be tracked, it will make more sense. You'll see a list of packages going to different embassies. You'll know which one is yours.

Embassy receives the package.

If your spouse hasn't had their medical, now is the time.

Spouse interviews, turns in medical, hands in passport.

Passport is returned.

DO NOT OPEN MEDICAL OR ANY PAPERWORK FROM EMBASSY AFTER DONE THEY ARE TO BE OPENED AT PORT OF ENTERY!!!!

I-129-F At VSC:

VSC gives I-129-F Case number

I129F is immediately sent to the respective consulate after assigning a case #

If you were also approved to apply for a K-3 visa (otherwise skip).

If (again big IF) you had simultaneously petitioned to apply for a K-3 visa (by sending in an I-129f) then you may be able to allow that process to continue in order to get an interview date at the consulate before your case is approved at NVC. This requires luck and timing.

USCIS will send your approved I-129f to NVC.

NVC will "touch" the I-129f long enough to give it a case number and pass it on to the embassy.

NVC Mailed K-3 to Caracas Embassy

K-3 Reached Embassy

The embassy will notify the beneficiary of the next steps, and give them the case number assigned by NVC.

VSC Sends Package to EMBASSY

Embassy Sends Packet 3:

The embassy will tell the beneficiary how and where to setup the medical exam.

The beneficiary can then send in another copy of the DS-230 (just the signed pt.1, no other documents).

The beneficiary can schedule a medical exam.

The beneficiary can request an interview date, far enough in advance that their CR-1/IR-1 Visa case will be completed at NVC.

Once NVC completes the case, the beneficiary should NOT contact the embassy/consulate to request that they change the already scheduled K-3 interview for a CR-1/IR-1.

Instead, contact a supervisor at NVC, and request that your completed package be expeditiously sent to the embassy/consulate. This strategy is not guaranteed, It will vary by embassy.

Technically, if you have a CR-1/IR-1 that's ready, the embassy/consulate can not issue or schedule you for a K-3. They also can not schedule a CR-1/IR-1 interview...only NVC can.

Sorry guys I have been a lil selfish with all my venting!!!

Jen I hope Toucho is feeling better....the pain meds will definetly help in that dept.

Lisa - Sorry to hear you are still in AP...####### are they doing?

Narina - How are you doing? too bad you had to work all weekend.

Candid: how are you doing? Where are you?

I am really not looking forward to an approval this week.....I am counting on you Jen.

you are far from selfish hun. :luv:

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Very True!! Most days you all keep me sane...Being able to come here and vent among friends - keeps me going, keeps me sane and keeps me focused
