I called this morning and AVR states they are awaiting BIOGRAPHIC DATA PAGES FROM THE PETITONER (ME). What is this? I tried to talk to an operator but the wait time was too long, anyone have any ideas? I'll call tonight but just in case anyone has any insight I thought I'd ask.

Jen, I was told I would receive the info of the person assigned to my case from the senator's office in the mail. When I asked if I could have an email where I can direct my questions and keep tabs on what's going on, I was told that there would be a specific person whose contact info I would be getting in the mail they will send me. If that how Joe was assigned to you? Did you receive such letter from your congressional office?

BTW where is Sarita?

I think you're misunderstanding what they mean. You will get the info of the person in the senator's office assigned to your case. Not the person at VSC. Is that what you mean? I don't think they're allowed to give out the information of the person who is assigned to your case, as in adjudicator...too dangerous! LOOOL

Jen, when I inquired w/ the congressman's office they gave me horsesh1t answer of February 26th and told me my case was not assigned to anyone and it would take 60 days... that same day my case was assigned to someone and I got my approval one week later. So don't believe the 45 day thing. Your approval should be right around the corner. Have you started working on your step-son's petition yet?

I asked Tucho to get the birth cert and photos. who knows how long he will take to do that.

I know it will help the case but unless someone is there holding a flame under him he could take forever. The ball is in his court.

I don't believe the 45 day horseshit . I know they are all full of it. I really was so hopeful to hear something this week. Honestly, How long does it take to work on a box of petitions? If they really wanted to kick out the petitions, they should hire people who went through it. I know I would kick #### at adjudicating. :star:

Thanks for the support. I'm falling apart these days. My life is on hold just waiting for all of this. And I know I'm not the only one. Im not trying to whine. Its old though.

Don't forget the birth certs need to be in english or translated by official means then Apostilled!!!!!

Yes Narina is right, I didn't mean VSC, I meant they said they would mail me the person's contact info from the senator's office. YIKES! Seems like such a detour! Why can't they email VSC right away and get us an answer in 48 hrs. We just want to know if our petitions are still being used to prop up the wobbly tables or forgotten on a shelf or with an abjudicator

And Jen, that is exactly what's happening to me:
