Just wondering what exactly this status message means - I have tried calling the info line but there is a problem with the system and they cannot access my file. Should I be worried?

Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case. 08/15/08 I-751 submitted to VSC

10/01/08 Biometrics completed

03/02/09 Case transferred to CSC

04/04/2009 Received approval letter

03/31/2009 Date of Decision

05/01/2009 Card production ordered

05/07/2009 Received card

No need to be worried, as far as I know that's a standard RFE response.

In short, they got your stuff, they will take a look and get back to you.

25 March 2006 - Mailed AOS package to Chicago! (I-485, EAD, AP)

28 March 2006 - AOS package recieved (day 1)

4 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 (EAD) NOA date by USCIS. NO AP, yet. (day 7)

6 April 2006 - Checks cashed (NOT AP)

7 April 2006 - I-130, I-765 NOA's recieved in mail! (day 10)

10 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) RETURNED. Should have mailed it to Nebraska Service Center <confused> (originally sent it to Chicago Lockbox with AOS..) (day 13)

11 April 2006 - I-131 mailed to Nebraska as requested (day 14)

14 April 2006 - Bio appt letter in mail (day 17)

17 April 2006 - I-131 (AP) NOA1 received(day 20)

2 May 2006 - Biometrics completed I-485 and I-765 (day 35)

9 May 2006 - I-131 (AP) RFE email recieved, RFE request by USCIS. (day 42)

13 May 2006 - RFE Recieved, missed a bunch of stuff? (day 46)

15 May 2006 - Mailed requested info back (Nebraska) (day 48)

22 May 2006 - I-485 Interview Notice Arrived! (July 13th)! (day 55)

22 June 2006 - AP Approved (day 86)

29 June 2006 - Interim EAD success in Denver DO.

13 June 2006 - Interview. "not concrete approved", received two emails later same day approving I-485 and I-130. "welcome notice was mailed" and "approval notice was mailed"

17 July - I-485 Welcome notice received and I-130 approval received

18 July - I-485 "after approving your application, we ordered you a new card" email received.

24 July - GREEN CARD RECEIVED! All info correct. Apply to lift conditions 7/13/08

Hello, Silver

I received RFE also and sent it back right away... so that I am waiting response from USCIS.

Did you send it on May 13th? so their response took alsmost one month after you sent it back...Is it correct?

Because I was kinda worry about their loosing mine...

Thanks for the reply Moly. I can stop worrying for a while then!

Popocat - I put the wrong date for sending back the RFE it was actually just a couple of days back that I mailed it to them. I was in such a dither that I put May instead of June - I have amended it now - Thank you. I hope that you hear about your RFE soon.

I am hopeful that the RFE we sent back was OK and that we can get back on track - I am waiting anxiously for my EAD so fingers crossed I wont get another RFE!

Hi, I think you should not worry about your case, as long as it's not RFE for sponsoring of I485, I think it should be fine. I've been waiting for my interview letter almost 180 days, I sent all applications last year, all of my noas' date are 28 December 05, and yesterday I just got approved for I765 after calling, making appointments, writing a letter to the congressman and etc. I think you should do like I did, if the process time is more than 90 days. My husband and I were wondering, my I765 got approved because of calling, writing a letter or having appointments with my local office. Still wondering.....Ha Ha Ha....just be patient....my husband and I used to be worried a lot about our case, but one day we realized that we shouldn't have worried about it, because living together is the best thing in the world, it's more important than waiting for something that you cannot predict......Good luck!!!!!

P.S. Maybe some of us already used our luck on our lucky marriage, so that's why our cases are dalayed. ;)
