We had our first goat births on the farm today! One girl and one boy. SO is thoroughly convinced that I will raise one of these beautiful babies for him to eat :). My camera batteries are dead, but as soon as I get some more I'll post pics of my babies.

Your sister must have angora's - right?? I typically raise LaMancha's but was given an Alpine doe and buck so these babies are Alpine.

I have a feeling in the future mine may be for food also - probably just the males I usually sell them anyways.

Thanks :). SO would love it if I was pg, wants me to get "doubled" (as he puts it) on my next visit. I just DO NOT want to be alone during a pgcy so have told him we need to wait until he gets here. And it looks like NOA2 approvals for the I-130 are just flyin so maybe he'll be here sooner than anticipated.

Want to hear something funny????

I am actually starting a business, "Eating Machines" and will rent out my goats to help people clear their land. The woman who lives on Bainbridge Island makes $850 A DAY renting her goats!!!!! Granted she has 60 goats and I don't think I'll go above 30 but sheesh!!!! People up here are definitely into the "green" ways of doing things so why not make some money from them?
