Ok, in the I-130 instuctions posted here it give more details and states to use a cover letter.

But when you go to the I-130 / K3 instuctions it gives no mention of this. So would i assume that i will include a cover letter in each packet ?

Next Question: In the Philippines do they require a I-134 or the I-864 affidavit of support ?

Last question : It states include evidence of the marratial relationship. In the instuctions it is specific on some things, but does this also mean to include pictures, emails, and letters in the I-130 and K3 packets ?

Thank you, Steve[/b]

As long as you have the other items that the I-130 lists these are not needed for the I-130. It will be needed at the USEM interview.

Please read some of the discussions about simply skipping the I-129F petition for a K3 visa and just sticking with the CR1 visa path.

No affidavit of support is submitted with either petition. They/it come later.

-Yes, submit a cover sheet with both petitions.

-the 134 will be required at the interview stage for the k3.

-if you choose to persue the cr1, a 864 will be required at the nvc stage. you dont want to include either of these with your original submissions.

-many people submit all of the evidence that they have being newlyweds(we did), but others submitted no proof of bonofides and were approved as well. so evidence shows its not necessary. that proof will be vital at the interview stage.

i hope that helps. :)

good luck!

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!
