And George Noory

For Coast to Coast AM: http://www.coasttocoastam.com/

I love to talk about the paranormal, but lost a little respect for those 2 over the years. Some of the products they endorse (or used to endorse) are shaky to say the least. They love stoking fear too. I realize that is part of the show but sometimes I think there is a line you shouldn't cross. One of the first times I heard Bell he was talking up Y2K and spreading a rumor that the Government was buying huge amounts of body bags.

Howard Stern...!

Many years ago, I liked listening to him. But it got old and tired, bashing everyone and everything day in and day out. He tried to be different, but he was the same. Now I think he is an arrogant, talentless, douche bag.

 i knew HS would be the first and a common response. he's overrated. i liked him when i was a teenager.

Does this mean you have outgrown fart jokes :P

In my lifetime I would probably have to say Casey Kasem. I used to listen to American Top 40 with bated breath, hoping against hope that Led Zeppelin or Pink Floyd had somehow risen to the top of the pop charts.

I like Casey Kasem too.

Art Bell can be a little snarky sometimes but he's mostly retired with his wife Ramona and their baby girl. The products they mostly endorse are CC Radio and buying Gold. Since George took over the show I can't think of anything else they endorse, but George really knows how to handle the callers. He's a pleasant and personable radio personality.

Oh you're right. It was so sad.

  • Sachiko Toguchi Bell Pontius, divorced. Children: Vincent Pontius, Lisa Pontius Minei.[10]
  • Sukiyaki Sakamoto Kyo Bell, divorced. Children: Art "Scooter" Bell IV.
  • Ramona Bell, Aug.1991 – January 5, 2006 † (see below)
  • Airyn Ruiz, April 11, 2006 – present. Children: Asia Rayne Bell.

Death of Ramona Bell

Ramona Bell, his wife of 15 years, died unexpectedly,[13] at the age of 47, of what appeared to be an acute asthma attack on January 5, 2006 in Laughlin, Nevada, where the couple was taking a short vacation.

The events surrounding Ramona's death were described in great detail by Art Bell during the January 22 broadcast of Coast to Coast AM. For weeks thereafter, callers would express their sadness and sympathy for Art Bell to George Noory, who had taken Art Bell's place weekdays in 2002.[14]

It wasn't until July 2007 that he announced his semi-retirement.
