question about I-864

I'm the intending immigrant. We're using my income to meet the income requirement.

This is what the 864 instructions say:

"Can the Intending Immigrant Help Me Meet the Income Requirements?

If certain conditions are met, the intending immigrant's income can help you meet the income requirement. If the intending immigrant is your spouse, his or her income can be included if it will continue from the same source after he or she obtains lawful permanent resident status. If the intending immigrant is another relative, there are two requirements. First, the income must be continuing from the same source after he or she obtains lawful permanent resident status, and second, the intending immigrant must currently live with you in your residence. Evidence must be provided to support both requirements."

We're not going to be living together until 2 months after we get married. Can we still use my income?

Is there a sample letter from employer, proving that the income will continue from the same source? If so, please let me know! Thanks!

Oops! I just found the answer to my first question! The instructions say:

If the intending immigrant is your spouse, his or her income can be counted regardless of current residence, but it must continue from the same source after he or she becomes a lawful permanent resident."

I'd still appreciate a sample letter from employer!

Re: Verification of Employment

Dear Sir or Madam:

This letter is to confirm that (your name) is currently employed with (your firm) on full time, permanent basis as (your position) since (date of employment) at an annual salary of $xxxxx.

Her employment is of indefinite duration and one in which there is a good expectation of continuing employment. If she is granted permanent residence, it is my intention to continue to employ her in this capacity.

Please feel free to contact us if your office should require any further information.
