Weird! How about http://mail.yahoo.com ?

thanks. I did another google for Yahoo phone numbers and finally got to the Yahoo help desk. Guess what, she told me that my yahoo account had been merged with my ATT account so had to connect me back to the ATT help desk. This time I got a knowledgable help desk person and she was able to reset my original Yahoo password and then had me redo my modem password too so I am finally back in business. :dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

and so ends another happy vj help desk experience. :thumbs:

Thank God you got it straightened out.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Yep, learned my lesson. I think I will download it at work, we have a much faster connection, and put it on a DVD.

I just had my Yahoo mail lock me out after I clicked on a message from visajourney -- "Session Terminated" and would no longer recognize my browser -- cookies rejected. I had just changed my privacy setting from medium to medium-high before the session. I clicked on the privacy icon at the bottom of the last window, and changed the setting for the cookie http://mail.opi.yahoo.com/online... from "blocked" to "always accept", and Yahoo allowed me to log back in. Things seem to be okay now. That was the first time I encountered that cookie, or had my seesion shut down like that.

Google has been acting weird too, especially here at visa journey. The last week or so, google has been sending out double-click cookies as fast as my spyware can remove them. That is why I changed my privacy settings, to be able to block them from downloading. Now I can watch YouTube inline again. :dance:

It was a nightmare Dean but finally got to the bottom of it after connecting to a knowledgable help desk person at ATT. I have no idea how they knew to merge my yahoo account with ATT but they did without telling me and with some idiots at the yahoo and ATT help desks it took a few tries to get a solution.

Many of my friends on yahoo had the same problem, turns out that someone stole their accounts, changed the PW etc etc. One friend in particular has had 4 of her yahoo accounts stolen. She gave up contacting yahoo coz the silly woman forgot the info she used when she opened her accounts. :bonk:

Helpful Tip

change your PW at least once a week, and make it encrypted.... something like this ... *j%v4@+ .......... makes it harder for hackers to steal accounts, make a note of your PW each time you change it and never store your password etc on a notepad on your PC. ;)
