I am taking Lexy to shop for shoes today. Her mom was going to take her but she said 'No mom, this is what me and grandma do' So today is going to be full of shoe aisles, the pet store for algae disks and the book store because Miss Lexy is an accelerated reader (she TOTALLY got her love of books from me!)

That's so cute! I asked my little one why she doesn't like to go shopping when Usama is coming and she finally confessed, "he's a BOY mom!!!" So from now on when it's clothes related (she's ok going with us to GameStop) it's girl's day at the mall and hubby stays home with Need for Speed. lol

Hello, Even with Satelite hook up in Iran you can not get the Oscars!!!!! We got a lot of European tv (explicit content) and the BBC, Deutche Welle, and a Russian tv.

How are you finding Iran? Boring tv, I know!!!! But are you in a good city at least??? I was there two years ago, in Kerman.

I just started reading, "Confessions of a Shopaholic" this weekend then I want to see the movie. Needed some light-hearted reading for a change. Haven't read any of the Twilight books yet, just waiting for the next movie

Hey all! Happy Sunday!!! Woke up out of a sound sleep to an explosion outside of our window...transformer blew out on the side of our house. We were without power for the morning. I can only imagine how people in war zones feel.

Can't wait for the Oscars tonight...love to watch them. I hope some of my favorite pics win. I am ticked like many about Gran Torino - freakin' awesome movie!
