I'm not sure, I've never heard of expedited processing for the K3...do they just mean like the K3 in general, flying through NVC and being processed at the consulate? I'm curious now...

The C/S rep said " our case only spent 3 days @ the NVC due to expeited processing" the electronic copy was sent on 2/13 and the hard copy was mailed the same day.. I don't know , this is confusing me :( so now my hubby's just waits on the hard copy getting to the consulate and then they will contact him? or does he have to do anything a head of time ?

I think NVC is saying that the k3 makes a short stop there. So, its not that its expedited so much as they have already sent it to the consulate per the norm.

Thats what i would think.

The visa case(after uscis and nvc has processed) is ALWAYS done "outside the states". he must interview in the country where the marriage took place. He should be getting a package from the consulate giving him instructions on how to proceed. (where to get the medical done, to obtain his poilice cert ect ect)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Your timeline looks pretty normal to me, ie not expedited (though 3 days at NVC is short, but not unheard of)- the last stage of any visa process is done at the embassy (including interview for beneficiary).

Are you in the military maybe and being deployed? That is the only reason I could think of for an expedite that wasn't specifically requested by the petitioner.
