We are assuming the best case and planning how long Gabriella should plan on staying in Rio post interview (3/24). How long does it take the folks in Rio to process an approval post interview?

Apparently she already asked them when she talked to them on the phone - the answer is 2 days.

Our interview was on a Tuesday at 9 a.m. and once we were approved (in 6 minutes) we received the card telling us to return in two days on Thursday at 3 p.m. (I think that was the time).

Since I was flying back and forth to Brazil once a month I timed my trip to cooincide with the interview.

I she met me at the Rio airport, we spent 2 days there.

The interview took 10 minues, we were in the consulate until 2 PM

They kept her passport and we went downstairs and paid for the delivery of the package to her house and that was it,

Three days later the passport was delivered to her house, with her broen envelope.

This was April last year.
