Best way is to have the Petitioner to pay $18 and get a PIN number.

They will answer on the first few rings and get your interview scheduled.

I think the PIN calls get priority over other incoming calls...

hello everyone,i just wanna ask if u can use globe provider to call usembassy manila to get an interview date?or u can onlu use pldt?

Hi all,

New to forum and let me first say I'm glad to have found such a resource. It's hard to get info from INS as you probably well know. I have just received the Approval Notice from VSC, approval dated 2/13/09. Based upon this, when do some of you who have been through the process estimate the interview will take place in Manila?

Since filing the petition, my fiancee was laid off. We used her office address as the address for correspondence since we felt it more likely that she would be at work when it arrived so she could sign for it there. What should we do now? The package from the Embassy will go to her work address but she won't be there.

Regarding the 18$ fee for a PIN number, what are the particulars? Can I do this now and avoid further delay by scheduling interview ahead of time? Or do we have to wait until further INS action?

Thanks for the advice.

I THINK ITS MUCH BETTER TO USE HER PHYSICAL ADDRESS IN ALL THE FORMS THAT SHE SIGN BEFORE.

AM NOT REALLY SURE WHAT TO DO TO CHANGE THE ADDRESS BETTER CALL USCIS SO U CAN ASK THEM.

WITH THE $18 FEE U HAVE TO USE MAJOR CREDIT CARDS TO PAY IT..CALLING THEM TO SET GET AN INTERVIEW DATE, U HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL U GET A LETTER FROM MANILA EMBASSY STATING THAT U CAN ALREADY SET UP FIANCEE INTERVIEW COZ SHE WILL NEED TO HAVE A CASE NUMBER TO PROVIDE THE AGENT.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Update:

I just received a letter from the NVC giving us a MNL case number. I checked USEM website and apparently they no longer send packet 3 - it is to be downloaded from the net. If this is indeed the case, now that I have the MNL case number can I go ahead and schedule medical and interview or do I need to wait for further action on their part ?

Thanks again,

Tonello

You're going to want to check out the PI regional forums here on VJ. There is a guide pinned to the top specifically for K-1 filers and the process involved. ;)

If you have your MNL Case Number you can go ahead and try to schedule the interview.
