I just learned from this forum that I needed to get CEMAR for my visa interview. My problem is my interview is on Feb.24 and I just applied for it last fri. and it will take 10 days for it to arrive. There's no way I can get it before my interview. I'm frustrated because I just found out about it last week.

To those who are on IR category who had their interview, did the COs asked for it? What if I don't have it? Will it cause delay on my visa? I'm so worried.

They might just hold your case, then ask you to submit the documents they need.

hello I think you need that for the interview,..in my K1 Case,I will have my interview on March 9, but my 2009 CENOMAR will release on the 10th,, but I have my Cenomar dated December,2008..

good luck to us sis,I think you have to re-schedule your interview.

Did you order it online?

I got mine at service center. They usually schedule your releasing date after 2-3 weeks. When i got my cenmar it was dated 4 days after my date of application. Try to talk to the information window and maybe they can help.

If u can go to NSO, u apply personally. Dont apply online bcoz it takes longer. Im from Tacloban City, and I went to NSO at 7am of Feb 9, at 2pm same day, I had it already...why it took longer to get a cenomar in other places? If you are in a city and NSO is just a walking distance, you still have time to request for a CEMAR before your interview date. But if u cant apply and cant have it on your interview date...still go ahead and submit if u alreday have it than to reschedule your interview date. Good Luck on your interview date.

Thanks for your replies guys!

I already called NSO and they said if I would apply personally, it would take more than 15 days to get it. I have no choice, either I take my chance and hope they won't ask for my CENMAR or to resched my interview. My husband said to take our chance and go ahead with the scheduled interview. We are so pissed off because it was't stated in the required documents that we needed to have it for the interview. We thought it is for singles only. It's so unfair. They should put it in the required documents.

Sorry for my ranting. I'm just so worried. I'll just pray for all of us to have a successful interview.

Good luck to all of us!

I'm very happy to announce that my visa was approved despite not having CEMAR. Just got my visa today delivered by Air21. Actually, I was asked for the CEMAR by the Filipino pre-screener. It was the first thing that was asked from me. I politely explained to the pre-screener why I didn't have it. While waiting for the final interview, I'm praying that I won't get an AR because of that. I'm so happy because the CO didn't asked for it and she said that I was appoved.

GOD IS SOOO GOOD!!!
