USCIS LOST his medical records?!?!

We have received and RFE in the mail saying hey are unable to complete our AOS because they are saying medical forms DS-2053, DS-3024,DS-3025, and DS-3026 are not in their records. These would have been in the brown envelope when he entered the country. What should we do now? We have to give them I-693 report of medical and vaccination record by the 31st of march! I have read that people have called their congressmen, called heir doctors and had them mail their records to them by paying a 20$ fee or something, but ours would come from England and I think it would take to long to get to us and have no idea the price. I wanted to know what we should do and what would be the quickest way to get the record and send it back within their 1 month time limit. It's so annoying this is our third RFE and I have no idea to do with this one. I want this to finally be over with but now they lost his medical!! If anyone could please help us at all with this, have been through it or know someone who has pleaseeeeeeee reply

Go to a US Civil surgeon and have a FULL I-693 medical done.

What others are saying by $20 is simply getting the vaccinations records transferred to an I-693 which is a requirement of AOS from a K-Visa.

Same thing happened to us. We went, did the new medical and were approved.

This has happened many times before. Quickest way to sort this issue is to go to a local civil surgeon and get the full medical done again.

I doubt Knightsbridge doctors in London keep records to send to you. Immigrants are just passing through so unlikely that they save copies of your report. You could call and ask if they could duplicate the file. 020 7486 7822

just wanted to update we ended up having him do another medical, and we sent it off in the beginning of march, we used tracking from the usps so we know is has arrived, but nothing has been updated on the uscis website. We only had until the 28th and although it's there already what if they think because there looking at it and reviewing it after that time they think its late and reject him. Do you think they could/would do that? I have read that many times after the new medical is sent to them the green card is approved after a week, and its been a few weeks now... any ideas or suggestions on what we should do??

Don't worry about it. I was in almost exactly the same situation (except the RFE was an Affidavit matter) until recently. My case status never changed to 'Response received' even though I got the return receipt stamped by USCIS back in the mail. To add to the confusion, around the time the response was received the case was sent from NBC to CSC, leading me to wonder if the response ever 'met up' with the rest of my file properly. My RFE 'deadline day' was going to be April 6th and I was starting to get very worried. They did have it though and they had accepted it because my case was approved last week (again, with no emails, touches or status updates).

Case Status Online is very temperamental and frequently doesn't update when it should. Don't rely on the lack of an email from it to tell you anything about your case. You could try calling the misinformation line to see if they can tell you whether it was properly received but I doubt they'd be much help.

If you have a delivery confirmation from the courier, USPS, etc, it'll be OK.

We have the EXACT same situation as you. USCIS lost our medical from Mexico, which we did for the K-1 (We just got an RFE saying that we needed to submit a medical- not admitting anything). We redid the whole medical and according to the certified mail, USCIS rec. it 2.5+ weeks ago. No status chage at all on the USCIS web site, or email. I called today, and the operator said if I don't see anything in 60 days, I should call back and they would do a "service request." I think it is odd. We got an RFE in December because we forgot to put in the actual Mexican birth certificate- just included the translated one. (Even though they alrady had several copies from the I-129F and K-1 interview...) That RFE was put into the online system the DAY AFTER it was rec. at MSC. Now, when they make a hughe error, and make us pay a lot of money, they don't even update the online system. Geez... Keep us updated, please.

happily updatinggggg in the mail today he received his welcome letter FINALLY lol so exciting, Soon green card will arrive and I can stop stressing over the USCIS Thanks for everyone's help!
