hello VJ family needs HELP!

Im here again cause im really have a big problem and i dont know where to post this, last Feb 17 i arrive in Las Vegas as POE, the officer took my package and let me write some kind of forms, then he put stamp on my arrival then he write in handwriting it states March 18, what it means?, I dont ask him upon that time cause because of my dizziness upon a long flight i'm to excited to go out, I only see that upon arrival at my fiance place.

That March 18, is the duration or length of stay here in vegas, how about the 90 days? where can i call to correct if this a mistake?

Please help anybody, im really to scared we are not yet ready w/in so short period we plan to get married within two months of my stay here for the preparation.....

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Thank you and God Bless!!!!!!!

It could be May 18 which means the expiration of your k1 visa which is 90 days.

so what is actually written in your I-94, March or May 18? I mean they're humans who work at the POE, and a mistake could have been made.

Fact is you have a 90 day validity of the K-1 from the time you enter...but it is also important what is written on the I-94, as you will need to send in a copy of it when you adjust status and the date on it will have to be later than the date on your marriage certificate.

Why dont you go back to las vegas airport, your POE and have it amended. Request for a change in expiration date from March 18 to May 18.

When I was at my POE, the lady officer stamp my I-94 with june 20, 2008 although my expiration of my K1 Visa states Sept. She told me to get married before June else I will have to go back to my home country. She stated that it is based on the K1 Visa application which is actually feb, 2008. So that might be right, you should get married before the date stamped on your I-94.

No, the expiration of the Visa is the amount of time you have to get to the USA. Then, after getting there, you have 90 days to get married. The June date was your 90 day date and the September date was the last date you could go to USA.

Nope, the lady officer told me to get married before June. She could have deported me at that time but she gave me an extension at that moment since it wasn't my fault and was unaware of it since I can't open that brown envelope they usuaally gave together with the Visa itself.
