Are you moving back to Canada then? I won't delve into specifics about your personal lives. Have you filed for the AOS yet? If not, I don't think there's much more to do except leave, handle the divorce - can you get an annulment if it's this short?

I expect someone will have some advice on how to notify UCSIS that you're not going further with this petition.

I'm sorry this has happen, but I hope it's relatively painless to get through the next little while.

My god..so SO sorry Cheryl to hear this.

Check out the divorce requirements for the state you live in. File for divorce and you can leave back to Canada. The visa has expired and if you haven't filed for AOS there is nothing more you need to do but handle the divorce.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

I'm sorry to hear this Cheryl.

There really isn't much to do, as other's have mentioned - immigration wise.

If you are interested in an annulment - I did find this site for an attorney in Phoenix that handles annulments - they have a free consultation that might help?

If you need to talk about it, please post here or pm me.

Yes, without the AOS you will have to go back to Canada.

Technically You don't have a sponsor anymore so no, not for the K1, AOS route. I hope there's a chance that the end result can be different, but only time can tell.
