Hi All..

March interview schedule is arrived...good luck to all but...

one surprise is that, i have not got date for my interview. i am in CR1 category. my case also completed on 11th Feb 2009. if you see the interview schedule. people whose case is after me got the date :angry:

how NVC schedule this ?????

I dont think n e one got interview date whos case completed after feb 11th. I am one of them. :thumbs:

I-130 petition for Sibling

07-19-2012: Sent I-130 via Priority mail

07-23-2012: I-130 received by PHX lbx (forwarded to california)

07-23-2012: Priority date

07-30-2012: I-797 receipt received

1. CR1 [Completed: 2009/Total Days: 325]

2. ROC [Completed: 2011/Total Days: 222]

3. CITIZENSHIP [Completed: 2012/Total Days: 125]

4. US PASSPORT [Completed: 2012/Total Days: ]

NVC schedules the interview dates based on the availability at the consulate in India and on the priority date you are given. They begin to schedule the interviews on the 2nd of each month and post the schedule by the 15th of every month.

Do you know what the cutoff date is for having your case completed so you can be part of the current interview scheduling?

I think they schedule for interviews for all cases that are competed in the first week.....My case was completed at NVC on Feb 4th.....we got a Early March interview.....I guess Delhi embassy is less busy than Mumbai embassy....

Timeline for K1 visa

9/11/2008 – mailed I-129F

9/12/2008 – Received at VSC/NOA 1 sent (mail stamp-9/16)

9/15/2008 – check cashed

9/19/2008 –Received NOA1

12/28/2008 – Received NOA2 Approval email from CRIS

01/06/2009 – Left NVC for Mumbai Consulate

01/07/2009 – Received NVC confirmation letter in the mail

01/08/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file electronically and sent packet 3 (info from DOS)

01/10/2009 – Mumbai Consulate received file (hard copy) from NVC (DHL tracking)

01/19/2009 – Overnighted packet 3 (still did not receive receive pkt 3 from Mumbai)

01/20/2009 – Packet 3 arrives at Mumbai Consulate

01/23/2009 – called DOS and was informed that packet 4 has been sent and interview date set.

01/24/2009 – Received hard copy of packet 3 (postmark Jan 20). Too late. Already sent packet 3 on Jan 19.

Have you try calling NVC to see if they have schedule your interview date for april? I called today but no interview date yet.

I think it all depends on the embassy and the work load at that particular embassy. My case was completed on the 12th and I called a few days later and was told I did not make it for the March date. Then I forgot about it for a week, and the other day decided to check the avr thinking nothing changed and long behold my case was shipped. I then called back and spoke to someone at nvc and was told my interview date for april. I say anyone completed in the last 2-3 weeks call like every other day to see if a there has been an update, you never know, don't wait for the 2nd week thing, I believe nvc is doing what vsc has been doing trying to clear up some backups?
