Finally some news - Govi's interview is on March 24... got the letter today from NVC.... excited but scared.....

Awesome news Pattu !!!!!!!!!!!! My God you have been in this process for soooo long! I remember you when I first joined and I hadn't even gotten married yet never mind applied for the visa! Revel in this excitement and don't think about the things that scare you. I'm sure all will go well!

Govi is taking a cooking class - thinking maybe he can get a job at a restaurant when he gets here. He told me he just learned how to make chow mein and momos(dumplings) - my favorites...

They had opportunities for people to take classes in cooking at the unemployment career center near us. He should look into it so he could start off as a chef's helper type person. (i forget the actual title). My husband likes to think he's quite the chef but what I find is that when he cooks he seems to find every single dish/pan/utensil in the entire house and dirties it!
