Abortion Question

My take on this issue is that doctors are able to know if there had been a conception (pregnancy) by the size and shape of the reproductive organs. It's their SOP to ask questions. One case I have seen is that it was very evident that she got pregnant and when the doctor asked her about it, she said it was a miscarriage. Knowing the underground business of abortion, this is a red flag for doctors and they would have to dig in deeper. Hope this helps.

I filed for an expedite because of her pregnancy. She can't lie about being pregnant even if I wanted her to because of this.

Thank you for all of your help so far...we are still trying to figure out what to do. I know it is a terrible subject...

Ironically, one of the St. Lukes physicians interrogated me for not having pregnancy scars/marks. Anyway, the physician's(female) kindly asked me to lay down and spread legs, then she checked my private parts for few times :crying: . She said, "I see it now." So, I asked, "What is it doc?" She replied, "A cut from delivery." I was :no: , and I said to myself " She is the only person looking at that closely and spent more time than my lover."

I don't have any idea about abortions because my miscarriage wasn't intentional.

Conan, as far as I can remember, Panel Physicians are not supposed to do internal exam anymore. They can only do external exam... they will either let you stand up and bend down, or lie down and spread and that's it, no internal exam. I think it was 2 or more years ago when a Doctor was examining internally and many had complained about her, so SLEC removed her as a panel physician and they can only do external exam, as in look but no touch. That is what I remember, not sure now if they have returned back to doing internal exams.

You cannot really tell 100% just by looking on the external part/perineal area if a person had been pregnant/given birth, there are signs but it is always better to do internal exam (I.E.) to be sure. Hymenal tags may also (sometimes) look like you've given birth (as a scar or something), depends on the doctor examining. There are also signs/symptoms that can make or look and misdiagnose a person as being pregnant (Pseudocyesis)- boobs becoming bigger, areola darkening and becoming bigger, abdomen/uterus enlarging, morning sickness, etc..., but ultrasound and HCG exams will confirm that they are not pregnant.

Sorry about the situation Conan. I can imagine how difficult this must be for you to ask openly for feedback. Hope all's well with you! Let us know what happens!

Thank you everyone for being so supportive. Since I filed for an expedite due to her pregnancy we pretty much have to have her tell the doctors she was pregnant before correct?

Also she had an ultrasound so it will be in her medical records.

Thanks again

If I'm understanding you correctly - she got pregnant while you two were together, then you asked for an expedited Visa because of the pregnancy and then she decided to abort the baby?

Same question here.

...I know this is sensitive topic and I don't want to condemn anyone here, but I'm thinking you've got larger issues here with getting her a Visa if the USCIS knows about the pregnancy. Was the decision to abort mutual and if so, why did you first notify the USCIS about the pregnancy only later to abort? This is really going to be a problem, IMO.

Another perspective but nothing personal. Some women inform their boyfriend of pregnancy. In reality, its a lie, purpose is to pressure the guy to marry her. Once the guy, proposed, the girl would say that she had a miscarriage or something. This is not new.

I personally know two guys that was pressured to marry their respective girlfriends due to pregnancy issue. After the wedding, their respective wives informed them that they had miscarriage or something.

Again, nothing personal. I'm just sharing my friends' experiences. Not a good way to start marriage life.
