hello,

I tried calling the USEM 3012000 then local 5184 that i got from some topics here in VJ. We have received like 4 letters in the mail stating that i have to contact USEM to set up my appointment. I just want to call this 301 2000 local 5184 number so that i dont need to pay to call the call center with a 1-909 number that cost a lot of money. I just want to ask whats up with my case because when i call NVC, they say i am on AP. ( yes. that sucks!! im there for 31 days and counting!!) if i buy the 18 dollars pin that is only good for 3 calls to the 1-800 number. so i want this route. I tried this before and it worked. the lady that i have spoken to told me that it was just misrouted and normally i would be asked to really call the paid call center service. any advice guys?

thank you.

You will get a letter from the usem stating that your case is eligible to be scheduled for visa interview. then thats the time you call them to set for ur interview date.

if you are still on AP at nvc, don't waste your money to call US Embassy..follow up your case by calling NVC about your case..

but if you have now the appointment letter from US Embassy, you can call now to get your appointment schedule.

good luck to us:-)

You want to set up your interview? do you have a MNL case number? Letter from the consulate?

i just want to know if they have my case yet because whenever i call NVC it is always the same thing. administrative processing. Just want to hear something different. hehe

The answer to that is a NO. You will not have a case number UNTIL you are out of AP. Im sorry but that's how it is, until you are out of Administrative Processing your case will remain at NVC.

PM me for any AP or AR relating to the NBI
