Still Des? Forgive me if you have already todl us all of this but...did you contact your state rep yet?

this is ridiculous really.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Contact your senator. I would also call USCIS in the morning, speak to the robot, and then ask for a supervisor and explain the situation. Try calling first thing in the morning it will be easier to get through and get a supervisor.

Thanks. I tried all of the ones you mentioned.

A nice lady had put in a service request earlier this week and said they will send you a written explanation/outcome of the request in 30 days. That will make 90 days since approval.

Thanks again.

DesiMan,

I was worried about you and wondering where you went. It's good to hear from you man. I am sorry to hear that you are still feast fighting between NVC and USCIS. I suggest you should try contacting lawyer, I am sure they'll be able to help you out quicker then anyone else in this matter. Also, try making Infopass appointment if you can and see what's going with your case. Let me know if I can help you with anything. I'll keep you in my prayer. Keep in touch.

Infopass is one thing I haven't done and in fact, I just scheduled one for Monday. Let's see what they have to say. Last time I went there before approval, they pretty much laughed at me saying Vermont is the one that approves, not us. So they should know. I tell you, they're just not liking me at all! :)

You'll definitely know if there's anything good out of this. Lawyer is my next and last option after Infopass.

True. But as they say in hindi "jodiya to upper che bunke aati hai" "match made in heaven" so I guess we all have had this in our destiny to deal with this totally BS immigration process.

I agree with that!! Thank god for this site, to help guide each other through this mess. I couldn't imagine what it would have been like if I had hired a lawyer to do the paperwork, I probably would have gone postal!! LOL :jest:

I second both of you on that! I guess that's the roadmap I've got!

Other than immigration, "The Jodi" is doing pretty good! At least that's the positive I can look at!
