Hello, for scheduling an infopass, does my wife and I need to be there or it's still OK if I'm going there by myself?

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)

We only wanted to know the process of my AOS. I'm just worried too much may be.

Our interview went well and the interviewer cannot approve my AOS application on the spot due to income problem. She gave us a white color paper stating that we need to file our tax return for 2008 or find a co-sponsor and bring/send the copy of our federal tax return or co-sponsor and she will approve my AOS application. I just applied for my SSN and we tried to file our tax return electronically and it was rejected twice. But when I tried to file it electronically again yesterday and it was accepted. We went to USCIS local office this morning and handed-in the requested documents but the problem was we can't remember the name of the examiner who conducted the interview. We went to infopass department and the person that we talked with told us that he's going to give our documents to the examiner and he assured us that he'll know the name of the examiner if he's going to enter my A#. Hopefully it won't get delayed. I'f I haven't received anything from them this 3 weeks from now, I'll make an inforpass to make sure that they're not missing anything from us .

jhunjhun, I bet you will do just fine, no need to worry that much, and don't check the update on the USCIS website, they are not updating the data in their database as often these days. I got my AP issued on February 10, and the status online for the AP is still application received and pending, and I did not receive any emails (the last touch on the AP was December 18, 2008).

Stay put, you are fine.

11/17/08 : Application sent (I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765)

11/18/08 : Official receipt of documents stated on I-797C (Signature for receipt at USCIS was on 11/17/2008 at 10PM)

11/28/08 : NOA Received ( I-797C) for all 4 forms (forms issued on 11/26/2008)

12/18/2008: LUD on I-130, I-131, I-765

01/29/2009: Bio done

01/29, 30/2009: LUD on I485 and I765

2/10/2009: issued AP, valid 1 year for multiple entries.

2/23/2009: Got EAD card

3/8/2009: LUD on all applications. Shows approval of I131 and I765, still pending on I130, I485.

04/28/2009 at 9:30 AM: Interview. Told to wait 90 days for a resolution by mail.

05/01/2009: Card production ordered.

05/06/2009: Received approval NOAs for I130 and I485 (welcome notice, 10 years card). I130 still shows case received and pending.

06/18/2009: got the 10 years validity card. Process length: 213 days since sending the applications.

No RFE at all along the process.
