[i like the way Octomom was able to look straight into the camera and claim she can support all her kids and that she didn't have collagen injections for her lips. Who's she foolin'?

I saw an interview with the Mom who says her entire retirement check goes to pay for the initial 6 kids. Who is going to foot the bill eventually Taxpayers of course

And? Exactly how can this be changed so that the outcome for the children and babies is a good one? After all, they are the ones who will ultimately benefit from these tax dollars, not the family.

Again it seems to me that there is a desire to 'punish' this woman. I can't honestly see how that can be achieved, well, not in any way that is going to help any of the children or babies, or make everyone else feel that something useful has been achieved.

It's like listening to a load of people whining how 'unfair' it is. Yeah, it is unfair, but to be quite honest, I wouldn't want to be that woman, not for anything.

Child Protective Services will be watching this family with more than a passing interest. There's a good chance the mom will lose custody of her kids at some point unless she has a steady stream of volunteers and donations for the next 18 years.

From what I've seen the woman doesn't sound like a terribly balanced individual.

The media likes extreme cases for people to rant and scream about inane generalities.

Heaven forbid we have an honest discussion about the welfare state - because naturally we can assume from this single case that government welfare in general is a bad idea.
