Affidavit of Support, taxes copy, etc.... NEED SOME INFO's!

Hi everyone its me again.... i have alot of confusement nowadays for filing of our K1/K2 AOS, bcos i took the responsibilities more now to pick up all the pieces for sending the requirements needed.

Anyway ... this is inregards with proof of income. I knew we passed for poverty line when we first file K1. So we need to have another affidavit of support for AOS.

My husband did last time, is just sending the 2004 tax copy showing that he has a "0" amount of income yearly, check stubs, pension/benefits cert. and claims. My question is do we still need to send 3 years (2003,2004,2005) income tax copy since it will still shows a "0" amount of yearly income, thats why my husband always tells me, send only 1 copy of tax for its useless .. same amount every year.

Reason why its like that, is bcoz my husband is retired police sgt, accident on-duty, so he dont pay taxes.... instead gov't paying him for his benefits yearly, plus the ss benefits of his son claims and pensions he got.

Any good advice for me?? what to include for proof on affidavit of support?? thanks so much!

You no longer need to send three years' worth of taxes, only last year's. Read the special instructions for I-864 on the USCIS website. I would send your 2005 taxes (even though they say 0) and proof of the pensioners' income.
