hello VJ members

i just have a question regarding what to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2): under guides at visajourney.

1.A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in)

Does my fiance need to send me the entire package he sent at uscis or just the requirements like I-134,ITR,W'S,AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT etc..

I talked to a friend from work before who just got her visa(K1 APPLICATION)and asked her about this, she said that her fiance from US send her a form or something that her mother need to sign to make sure that she's aware of their relationship, and so as her fiance had that form too with his signatory,i ask her where did they find that for but she doesnt know where to find it cause his fiance just send her the form..do u happen to know where can i find that form?or do i need that for my interview?am just confused with this cause i havent read anything about this at visajourney site.

thank u so much in advance,i hope u can help me finding the answer for this..God bless u all:)

You can also check the guides above, they have a "recommended" list of items to send to the interview.

Also has copies of the forms to practice with now.

If you are of legal age to marry, you will not need your mother to sign off on anything. That is only needed if your under 18 I believe. (depends on the country/laws)

Per the I-129F instructions:

If either of you is of an age that requires special consent or permission for you to marry in the jurisdiction where your marriage will occur, give proof of that consent or permission; and

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

WARNING: Phrases in this post may sound meaner than they were intended to be. Read the Adjudicator's Field Manual from USCIS
