HLM...I always kept those little round oyster crackers near my bed so before I got up in the morning I would put one in my mouth. That or pretzels. It seemed like the salt helped me a lot. Also, I couldn't brush my teeth without being in the shower...just the thought of it grossed me out! I unfortunately was sick for 16 weeks with Malek...I'm convinced it's the Egyptian blood, lol!

Ronell...I see you down there!! Are you still in EG?

I will check in with you all later tonight. I have a two hour system meeting to go to....

wow 16 weeks !!! poor u!! lol

yes salty stuff helps me so much too.... i will try pretzels tomo insha Allah.

I wish I could give you some advice but I never experienced morning sickness. (thank god) I was just sooo tired for the first 18 weeks...I worked all day and slept by 7pm till about midnight then had insomnia tll 4am and then passed out till work time!! :P I was a sleeping machine.

Wow, Tash...16 weeks!! Uggghhh! I can't even imagine.

sofyan and zaid were born on tuesdays and me on wednesday :)

I left work 4 hours early (bad me) and went to weight watchers and shopping. I have lost 5lbs in 14 days. I am sooo happy considering I feel no different and was pretty sure I had lost nothing at all.

Tasha, that is soo cute about Mal. Zaid says a few things, his new thing is "STOP" I must tell him a million times a day to "stop it:" and one day he said it right back to me. He also says "boos" for kiss and "joe joe" for his uncle joe. and of course the dada mama baba stuff.

Sofyan and I have to go buy a city sticker today for our new used car lol. we didnt get the car i had thought we were ont uesday so We went last night and found a sale by owner. Its beautiful . A Lexus ls 400. Black with tan leather interior! Sooo exciting! Techinically sofyan will use that car as I have a brand new ford focus but i am going to steal it every once in a while.

well i hope everyone has a great day!

its almost friday so hang in there!!

I should clarify I didn't get sick every single day but maybe every other. It didn't matter sometimes if it was in the morning or evening. It just hit me whenever. Smells of food and body odor sometimes would set me off.

Thats cute Kelly!! Malek says Bosa or kissy when he wants one laid on him. Congrats on the new car.

salty, dry stuff worked really well for me too, but i would get sooo thirsty! i would drink a super-cold bottle of jamaican ginger beer every morning before school with some pretzel sticks, and it helped a little bit. that was breakfast for about the first four months. hopefully it won't last nearly that long for you though!

omg i have no idea what day i was born!!!! i'm typing in all small letters 'cause it hurts to shift for some reason.

i had morning sickness for four months with emily and none at all with megan. prolly 'cause i got preggers with meggie right after i had emily so the hormones were all cozy in my system. with emily i had to have those oyster crackers on hand, i couldn't fill my tank with gas 'cause the smell would get to me, i had to literally RUN past this one woman i worked with who loved using that sprinkle a day stuff....ugggggh even now just the thought of the smell of that stuff makes me gag. finally i bought these sea bands to put on my wrists and that helped by keeping a pressure point on a part of the wrist that supposedly helps your balance.

i could use one of those bands now boy! i'm contemplating a cane if this dizziness doesn't stop. ugh.

anyways tgif!!!!! i can't wait till tomorrow so the weekend can start
