OMG! I was born on Thursday...Hicham was born on a Thursday and our son was born on a Thursday!!!!!!! I know that I was born late into the evening and our son was born at exactly 10:21pm. Is that wild or WHAT????

Tasha, your boy is just the cutest!!! Their first words are sooo sweet!

Last night I was sitting at the desk tagging MORE clothes for this dang sale and he walks up to the desk and he has the funny glasses on, you know the black ones with the big nose. He leans on the desk and says in this deep voice "Hello! I AM the professor!" I just about fell out of my chair laughing!

Thanks for posting the whole thing. I was going to look it up b/c a friend and I were discussing this a week or so ago. When I was a kid, my mom used to have it on the wall somewhere in the house. I remembered most of it. I'll have to forward the wording on to my friend. :thumbs:

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

Yep, Terrie he does. His favorite word in the world..forgive my spelling is adda or idda? Arabic for what's that? He has been saying that for about 4 months. LOL

HLM...I always kept those little round oyster crackers near my bed so before I got up in the morning I would put one in my mouth. That or pretzels. It seemed like the salt helped me a lot. Also, I couldn't brush my teeth without being in the shower...just the thought of it grossed me out! I unfortunately was sick for 16 weeks with Malek...I'm convinced it's the Egyptian blood, lol!

Ronell...I see you down there!! Are you still in EG?

I will check in with you all later tonight. I have a two hour system meeting to go to....

Can't remember if I mentioned this before or not...

Hicham has a slight speech impediment where he doesn't pronounce his r's properly, apparently very noticeable in Arabic.

Well, all these years that Hicham and I have known each other, he has been teaching me Arabic. So when I talk to his family, they hear the speech impediment and they just laugh because they know that I don't really have one. We've also been teaching our son Arabic as well. We joke all the time that the whole family now has a speech impediment!!!! :lol:
