asking about Following-to-join derivative

hi just want to ask.. i am petition by my father under F1 category, he said that i can bring along my 2 daughters since they are both minor age, would it be a problem if my childrens family name is not my family name but their fathers? but im not married...

Not a problem at all. Most children don't have the same last name as their mother. All you need to prove that they are your children are their birth certificates showing that you are the biological mom.

Derivative beneficiaries are allowed in the F1 preference category. You or your father should informed the US embassy in Manila and the National Visa Center (NVC) that you have two children who you would like to be derivative beneficiaries, if you have not done so. Write a cover letter with your case number explaining what you want done along with English translated copies of your children's birth certificates.
