I am a professional singer ( well i have part time gigs and studio sessions ) and it is soooo fun!!! i make a little extra income singing and its nice!!!

I wish she could find work singing. She loves music and singing so much and does have one hell of a voice. Sometimes I am truly amazed on how much volume can come out of such a petite person. She likes a lot of the current women singers and has been doing Madonna, Whitney Houston and really loves that song by Sade. I think she will be doing 'Where Do Broken Hearts Go' by Whitney at the contest. She did a Madonna song at the karaoke bar (Durty Nellys) and all the women went crazy for her (literally, I think it was lesbian night).

If she sings anything like the acts I saw along the Bay Walk (Roxas Blvd) in Manila, she definitely would have a marketable talent. I was surprised Ramielle didn't go farther on Idol last year.

She had this CD from a contest she won in Germany. When I first heard it I was thinking it was one of her CDs like Madonna or Whithey Houston or something, it was really good. Her music teacher gave her a singing lesson was was amazed on how well she could carry pitch, perfect to the piano.

Instead of doing the piano lesson tonight she wants to do a voice lesson. Geeze, she sings about 100 times better than her teacher, maybe she should charge the teach

Thanks. She's all nervous now Of course she was all nervous at the karaoke bar and blew their socks of with that huge voice that comes out of that little package

Stupid us thinking that this would be above board and honest. Claudeth made a mistake about how she wanted the mic level set so shame on her but three people out of the six that won were terrible, I mean TERRIBLE I guess there is a karaoke circuit and the people that travel around on it are friends so vote for one another. Anyway, 3 of the six winners couldn't carry a tune if it were in a bucket. Claudeth is sad so we will try it again on the 7th but I am telling her this is a fix and she probably won't stand a chance no matter how well she sings. We will go early so she can do some preliminary songs and get used to the way they set the mic but I still don't think it will help. One of the guys in the contest said these people follow these types of contests around and are a very close knit group

She is pretty discouraged but I think she wants to try again. This time I will make her go earlier and sing in the open times. Several, including a couple of the winners that couldn't sing, did that. She needs to find out how to have the guy set the music and mic.
