Hi TheGman and Everyone,

Well, I just thought that that was a theory, that's all...as you never really know with the government these days as to how they "prioritize" things. But then again, who knows....Maybe it was just an odd co-incidence that you live in Vermont and the VSC is in Vermont, and that they approved your case first, which is a good thing, indeed!

So on that note, it is good press for them (whether it is covered locally, nationally, internationally, etc.), that they do approve a (local) case so quickly.

I think the USCIS also mentioned something too on their website, about approving I-751 cases in 6 months..So here's another theory for all you VJers to figure out: Based on this, they could be approving cases "closest to the 6 month mark", as it was their "resolution" to do such. And if they put their "resolution into action" now in February, that means....good luck for August 2008 filers! They will probably work "backwards" from there, if this is the case, trying to approve all other cases in 6 months or less, as promised. So starting from August, they will then move to July, and whatever is left of the non-transfers. What do you all think, does this make sense?

I agree, not a lot of people around here know how the immigration process works exactly. Lol..you'd be surprised how many people seem to think that "just because you marry an American", that you become an American right away. Well, sad to say, this isn't the case, as there's quite a costly 3 year wait, at the minimum, for one to have such a privillage....sigh.....I wish everyone learn about the immigration process and about other cultures, as that's good to know too, and a definite "eye opener" for all!

By the way, Peru is located in South America...The capital City is Lima...The main language is Spanish...:)....Interesting...:)

Good luck everyone, on the rest of your immigration journeys too. And yes, everyone's turn will soon come too!..

Ant (Still waiting at the VSC, Still waiting for Baby...)

Thanks AntandD, but what can I say about your thoughts????? I live in Vermont, the press here doen't have the presence that it has in NY, FL or MA so I don't think that's a factor. A lot of folks around here don't have a clue how the inmigration process works, they don't even know where Peru is locate!!!!

I didn't do anything special or different than any of you, the time will come for everybody

Hahahah they don't have a clue where many of our countries are located...they should have a map or get a geography lesson to be officers to be honest!

Anyway I think is just a lucky thing. Probably the "sorters" of the files just put yours on top of others and you got lucky! Hey if that so or in any case, good luck!

VSC is extremely low in average comparing with California.

We are all so PC, I think it's BS that someone is approved in 6 months while everyone else has to wait for 1yr plus, this isn't because he lives in VT, I live in the state next door and there are probably 150 I751 cases from NH total in one year, So should mine have beem 7 or 8 months, It's been 11 months so far and nothing in sight,

I'm happy for you Gman but It's a bunch of #######.
