HI All

I Am well tired of the process

most like everybody else

But i was wondering has anybody submitted to NVC the AOS package without havinf an employers letter and how did that go

Also We only have 2008 & 2007 TAX PAPER COPY NOT TRANSCRIPT

no EMPLOYERS LETTER

AOS filled we are well above poverty line

has anyone filled without having all 3 tax years and no employers letter

HELP PLEASE INFO APPRECIATED!!!!

NOTE this has to do with CR-1/IR-1 visa process through NVC and consulate, NOT K-3 visa, tis is being moved to NVC forum.

PER I-864 instructions only past year return is required. (Employer letter, pay stubs, and 3 years returns are OPTIONAL), they may or may not accept the I-864 if the fee that more financial evidence is needed.

We didn't have an employment letter and we were fine. I think sometimes if you really, really want to prove that you have enough financially to be supported you could send all three years, but if you only have two I would think that's fine, especially if you make plenty above the poverty line. Do you also have a few copies of direct deposits/payroll? That could be added to the package before you send it. Sometimes it's better to have an overload of info rather than NVC having to ask for more!

My question:

I have only worked in the US since November 2008, so my last years return is only for a couple pay periods. I do make more than the poverty Line. Could I submit last years tax return, Letter of employment, most recent paystubs, etc. would this be acceptable?

That should work. You should also note in your package that the income in your tax return only reflects two months of work in 2008, as you lived in Canada. The employment letter will list your expected income (base salary) for 2009 so you should be good, and the pay stubs should help reinforce that income.

I am not sure if you should or should not include evidence of your income in Canada.
