But for those of you who miss Timmy's next time your home you have to try there new Trail Mix Cookie. I went this morning for my first one...it was still warm from the oven. They are to die for! The perfect companion for the large double double!

Is the coffee servered at Tims in the states as good as it is in Canada? I always find coffee in the states tastes awful.

Thanks

To be fair, what sort of coffee are you buying? It's not that different from Canada, in that there is both good and bad coffee.

15 days to Saskatoon and TIMMYS!!!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

Get a trailmix cookie and write a review for us as well!

truckerbob, in my opinion NO. The Tim's coffee and doughnuts in fact suck in the US. They don't use 18% cream either which is a MUST for Timmies!!

I don't think they have the 20 minute limit on the coffee in the US. But they serve the exact same used in Canada. If you can get there when it's freshly made, it should be the same. I lucked out one time in Ohio somewhere, with a fresh pot :)

Of course, water quality will also differ greatly from store to store, regardless of which country you're in. I imagine they use filters for the coffee makers, but even then sometimes weird tastes will get thru.

There are I think almost 200 stores in the US now, but they have no plans to expand into more states than they already are. So if you're not in the North East US, you're SOL.
