Hello Folks,

my spouse received the much anticipated welcome letter over the past weekend. It mentions about 3 weeks for receipt of the actual card.

Can anyone share their experience as to if you receive an email/notice informing that card production has been ordered?

Timelines from receipt of the welcome letter to the actual receipt of the Green Card.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

We received our Welcome Letters last Feb. 7 and the Green Cards Feb. 17, 2009.

N-400

March 21, 2014 - Application sent thru Expressmail

March 25, 2014 - Received/Priority Date

March 26, 2014 - Check cashed

March 27, 2014 - Notice Date

April 2, 2014 - Notice for Biometrics Appointment thru email

Aprill 22, 2014 - Biometrics

April 24, 2014 - In line for interview

August 25, 2014-Scheduled for Interview

September 30, 2014 - Interview and Oath-Taking :joy:

We got the welcome notice on February 14, and the green card arrived today, February 20.

AOS

Date Filed: 2008-08-27

NOA Date: 2008-09-02

Bio. Appt.: 2008-09-18

AOS Transfer: 2008-09-22 to CSC; 2008-11-25 to local office

Approval/Denial Date: 2009-02-10 card production ordered

Greencard Received: 2009-02-20

Removal of Conditions

Date mailed: 2010-11-12

NOA Date: 2010-11-15

Approved: 2011-04-28 card production ordered

Received card: 2011-05-04

The welcome letter didn't mention that the card was being printed, just that "you will hear from us within 30 days of the date of this letter).

Did yours mention anywhere that your card is in the process of being printed?

Can you track online or by phone from the welcome letter's receipt no?

What does it say in the top right as "case type" in yours?

I think Claudeth's came within a day of one another

i have a feeling the card is nowhere near printing. I guess might have to again walk into the USCIS office to find out more.

online is useless in my case, it still shows case in process and no updates since 1/22. i was also under the same impression but later got the good news of case being approved by postal mail. thank goodness they didn't go green and say everything via email.
