The civil surgeon will evaluate her vaccination record if she will need another vaccination or not. She must bring her medical result if she has it and vaccination record to the civil surgeon. If she has her medical result presented to the surgeon, she doesn't need another medical exam like blood test and skin test.

Hey. My wife does not have very accurate vaccination records.

Which exact vaccinations does she need for the AOS. She is from Poland.

Will a civic surgeon need to run a blood test to see what she got, or will they go off her word?

Thanks

They are age specific, most in our age group (aprox 17 - 65) require just:

mumps, measles, rubella, (MMR)

tetanus and diphtheria toxoids,

varicella

Check with your family doctor, or local health department, shop around for the least expensive option. Can also be tested for immunity (Titer test).

You will then get these records transferred to an I-693 by a US civil surgeon.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Hi Nate,

I just had a visit at CS, and I'm from Poland as well, so I can copy what I have in my records for you.

- DTP

- TD

- OPV

- MMR (I had to be vaccinated cause Poland's schedule only requires rubella)

- Hep B

Also, if she's under 26 she will need Human Papillomavirus.

You can request titers (spelling?) to check the immunity, my SC had fees for it though (around $60 per one).

Hope that helps!

Hey, thanks

We went to the doc and they said she needs a recent influenza shot? So they just gave her one. Don't think she has the OPV but they stamped her envelope so it must be all good, Right? Or might the INS send an RFE possibly?

OPV is polio vaccine. It has many types and names so she might have been vaccinated for it anyways. Also it depends on her age, but I'm pretty sure she must have been vaccinated for polio and most likely not once. ;)

You guys should be good if you have the envelope. :D
